We created LocalHabit to be a destination for consumers as well as a new breed of customer relationship management for the local business owner. I think it’s important to understand the dynamic in the local market before you build tools, and we took that into account.
Every local business has a free page on LocalHabit. They can use that page as their personality within the walls of the site and we will provide a short URL (myhab.it) to promote their goods and services through any other service the business uses to promote themselves. Post a comment on LocalHabit and have it syndicated through your Twitter and Facebook account with no additional work.
A key to a good reputation on the web is to ensure you have accurate content on all the major search engines, local search engines, IYPs, and social nets. We created LocalHabit to act as a template for the rest of these sites, so if you update your content on LocalHabit, your content will be syndicated on over 200 sites including Yelp, Yahoo, Bing, and Google.
Within LocalHabit, we will have a sentiment meter for every business, which will give a real time look at what LocalHabit users think about them. For a fee, we will also be able to let them know what is being said about the business on other sites as well, including Yelp, CitySearch, YellowPages.com, and more.
If you run into an issue with your reputation, such as negative reviews or social gossip, our Rep Squad PR team will step in and nip it in the bud.
At LocalHabit, we take the reputation of our business owners very seriously. On top of all the services I briefly touched on, we will also do deep keyword analysis, as well as a competitive analysis to help you make the right SEM purchasing decisions.
